Hi, I am Brett Mitchell Weaver, and I am a musician. I play bass, piano, drums, but I mainly play guitar and sing. I've been playing since September 2008, but I didn't start playing and singing until late 2009. And now, Music is my entire life. I love writing songs about where I am in my life, because who can express my feelings better than me?
And I do that through my music.

Third Person Biography

Brett Weaver started his journey as a musician 3 years ago in his living room where he was taught how to play "Smoke on the Water." Over the next few years he became extremely dedicated to guitar and realized that is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
Over Summer 2009 Brett was part of the area band "Trial and Error" which also influenced his thoughts on music.
In October of 2009 Brett suffered a broken hand which set his guitar playing back two months. While having a broken hand Brett still played in a show choir competition for his high school.
Over the following winter Brett became extremely rededicated, and began to play acoustic guitar and sing. At first he was most comfortable doing covers, Brett has covered Shinedown, Rise Against and other such artists. In January 2010 Brett split from Trial and Error to focus on his own musician ship.
He began to write his own original music, his first song, "Bittersweet" is written about his struggle to leave football to focus on music. All of his songs he has written about his life in some way or another. Some of the themes include leaving your old life behind, getting ready for a great summer, a deep heartfelt apology, the rise of his generation, watching people change for the worse, and wishing he would have listened to advice.
